Competition Archery Media Completes Successful 2020 Season

Despite a shortened season due to Covid-19, Competition Archery Media recently completed a successful 2020 season of archery coverage that showed tremendous growth for the two-year-old company.

In 2020, which was CAM’s second full season, CAM provided live broadcast coverage for eight tournaments featuring 3-D archery, indoor target archery and outdoor target archery. CAM also provided scoring coverage for many other competitions and produced a variety of feature content, including podcasts, giveaway videos and more.

From January through September, CAM saw more than 32 million impressions on its Facebook and Instagram pages, which was a 300 percent increase over last year’s performance.

It also drew nearly 1 million views to the videos published on its YouTube channel during that period.

CAM’s Facebook and Instagram pages attracted more than 2 million engagements – post likes, comments and shares – during the 2020 season, which was a 228 percent increase over last year.

Along with that performance growth, CAM also saw its audiences grow by double digits on each of its social media platforms.

CAM captured many incredible archery achievements in 2020, including Brady Ellison shooting the first-ever perfect 900 at the Vegas Shoot with a recurve; Paige Pearce becoming the sixth woman ever to shoot a perfect 900 at Vegas with a compound bow; and Levi Morgan capturing his record-extending 13th ASA Shooter of the Year title in the Open Pro division.

“It wasn’t an ideal year, but we made the best of it,” said Josh Grine, CAM manager. “We’re proud of the quality coverage we provided to the archery community and of the attention we brought to our sponsors. We couldn’t do any of what we do without our sponsors.”

CAM is sponsored by Mathews, T.R.U. Ball/ Axcel, Elite, Black Eagle, PSE, Hoyt, Easton, Conquest, Carbon Express, Lancaster Archery Supply, CBE, Scott, Shrewd, Specialty Archery, Last Chance Archery and GAS Bowstrings.
