Williamsburg, KY – Scholastic 3-D Archery (S3DA™) is proud to announce their participation in the 2020 Archery Trade Association Trade Show in Indianapolis, IN. S3DA™ welcomes attendees of the January 9th-11th Archery Trade Association show to visit booth NP11 to discover more about the program. The Scholastic 3-D Archery program (S3DA™) is changing the dynamics of archery, bowhunting and conservation across the United States. It’s also increasing membership and participation at local ranges and significantly boosting retail sales in participating communities nationwide. Several retailers with clubs in their local communities have been quoted as stating their sales are up by 35-50% due to the implementation of an S3DA™ club.

“The premise of the S3DA™ program is not just to create target archers but to also create lifelong bowhunters and conservationists. Parents want to get involved once they see the excitement that the archery industry brings to their children,” states S3DA Executive Director, Jennie Richardson.

Jennie Richardson, along with Dave Stephens, proprietor of Hilltop Archery Pro Shop in Indiana, will be providing a presentation in Room 133 from 8:00 – 9:00am on Friday, January 10th, 2020 on “What is S3DA and How S3DA Can Help Your Shop”.

Jennie Richardson, along with Accounting, Membership Services & Conservation Support personnel Holly Helton, will also be providing a coffee talk at the MyATA Area from 1:00-1:30pm on Thursday, January 9th, 2020 on the topic of ATA Retailers and the Benefits of S3DA™.

The ATA also offers USA Archery Level 1 or Level 2 and Scholastic 3-D Archery Instructor certification classes at the Trade Show. S3DA™ Instructor certification will be available Saturday, January 11th at 8AM and 11AM. The cost for S3DA™ certification is $25. You will need to pick-up materials at Main Registration and bring them with you to your session. *Please note: You MUST have obtained a Level 1 and Level 2 certification prior to attending the Scholastic 3-D Archery training. S3DA is structured as an after-school initiative that can be ran not only through schools but archery shops, sportsman’s clubs, municipality outreach programs, churches, fire stations, wildlife departments, ASA clubs, NFAA clubs, JOAD clubs, etc. as well.

About Scholastic 3-D Archery

Scholastic 3-D Archery (S3DA™) is a unique, family-oriented youth archery program which has grown exponentially across the United States as a next-step initiative to follow introductory archery programs. The mission of the Scholastic

3-D Archery program is to foster, educate and guide youth in the areas of 3-D, indoor target and outdoor target archery as well as safe, ethical bowhunting practices. The goal of the S3DA™ program is to provide archery and bowhunting opportunities to youth in after-school settings, as well as with archery-affiliated clubs and businesses in the community. S3DA™ students participate in 3-D and target archery using compound and traditional archery equipment. Students can participate at local, regional, state and national archery events and earn college scholarships from colleges and universities across the United States. S3DA™ addresses the need for a program to bridge beginning target archery experience and more advanced activities such as 3-D shooting and bowhunting. The program currently operates across the United States with hundreds of certified coaches serving thousands of young archers, grades 3–12.
