“It's always interesting to learn how today’s leaders have grown from experiences they faced early in their working journey,” said Keiner. “Like so many of us, Ernie’s career did not begin in the firearms industry. After years in motorsports, he chose to walk away and chase his other passion, guns. Working behind the counter in a gun store offered him valuable insights into how influential retailers are in influencing consumer decisions. The skills he gained on the retail front lines and as a competitive shooter continue to serve him in his current role as CEO,” Keiner added.
