Hunt, Fish, Learn with Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel and World Fishing Network’s New Slate of Programming This Fall

DENVER – If this “new normal” has prevented time spent in the outdoors, let Outdoor Sportsman Group be a personal guide to open season online, on TV and on-demand. Hunt, fish and learn with a new slate of premieres debuting on Monday, September 28 on Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel and World Fishing Network. The fall programming lineup features original premieres and new episodes from returning series to help outdoorsmen and women hone their outdoor skills no matter what life tosses their way.

Travel virtually from the comforts of home on Outdoor Channel and tune in for the original series, Driven Hunts, debuting Saturdays in October with eight episodes showcasing amazing hunts from the beautiful autumn forest of Sweden and Germany. Plus, don’t miss the return of Longmire (Season 5) premiering on November 30 and an all-new season of MeatEater (now airing its eighth season!) debuting on November 2. If it seems as if summer flew by, Farming the Wild offers an encore run of its popular sophomore season beginning on September 28. Finally, Country Outdoors LIVE provides viewers with an up-close-and-personal look at some of country music’s brightest stars for four Monday nights beginning on September 28. Catch new music from artists Gary Allan, Jordan Davis, Caylee Hammack and Josh Turner.

  • Driven Hunts (premieres October 3, 4:30 pm ET): A driven hunt is the most exciting and popular way to shoot big game in Europe. For European hunters, this dramatic and unique way of hunting is the highlight of any year. Head out with Jakob, Feliew, Jonah and Jochen in the cold and beautiful autumn forests of Sweden and Germany.
  • MeatEater (Season 8 begins November 2, 8 p.m. ET): Hunter, author, cook and conservationist Steven Rinella treks into the world’s most remote and beautiful regions, bringing game meat from field to table.
  • Farming the Wild (Season 2 encore, Mondays at 8:30 p.m. ET): English restauranteur and hunter Mike Robinson is one of Britain’s most prominent game chefs, and he co-owns the only pub in Britain with a prestigious Michelin star.
  • Country Outdoors LIVE (beginning September 28, 8 p.m. ET): Tune in for exclusive, intimate performances with country music’s brightest stars. Featuring Gary Allan, Jordan Davis, Caylee Hammack and Josh Turner.

Sportsman Channel celebrates the 2020 hunting season with debuts of new series and fresh episodes of fan favorites. Learn something different, such as trapping with the new series – North American Trapper (Thursdays, 9:30 p.m. ET) featuring Alan Probst; or make new memories with Wild Memories TV (Saturdays, 9 a.m. ET) and Born to Hunt (Sundays, 6:30 p.m. ET). Fan favorites returning with new seasons include: Season 4 of Dead Meat beginning October 3 at 2 p.m. ET; Pigman: The Series keeping its hallmark time on Sundays at 8:30 p.m. ET and Hornady’s Dark and Dangerous on Saturdays at 8:30 p.m. ET.

  • North American Trapper (Thursdays, 9:30 pm ET): Alan Probst, Pennsylvania hunter and trapper, gives tips and techniques on how to trap all types of fur-bearing animals.
  • Wild Memories TV (Saturdays, 9 a.m. ET): This new series is based around ideals and principles that hunters all live by.
  • Born to Hunt (Sundays, 6:30 p.m. ET) Born to Hunt, striving to promote hunting, is about heritage and passing along the traditions from one generation to the next. Viewers will go on an unscripted, adrenaline-pumping adventure with four compelling characters as they travel across North America in search of wild game to provide for their families.
  • Dead Meat (Saturdays, 2 p.m. ET): Dead Meat is about finding interesting people who have a passion for making some of the ugliest critters taste delicious.
  • Hornady’s Dark and Dangerous (Saturdays, 8:30 p.m. ET): This series features the highs, lows, harsh realities and tangible risks always present on a fair chase, dangerous game safari in Africa.

It is all fish tails – or is that fish tales – this fall on World Fishing Network. New seasons of fan favorites include: Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour (Mondays, 8 p.m. ET); Charlie Moore: No Offense (Wednesdays, 8 p.m. ET); Wild Fish Wild Places (Saturdays, 9 p.m. ET) and Florida Sportsman Waterman (Sundays, 7:30 p.m. ET). Tune in for new shows, Reelistic (Fridays, 7:30 p.m. ET), which sets out to promote fun and fishing in an exciting way; as well as Let’s Take it Outside (Saturdays, 7 p.m. ET) hosted by Misty Wells as she showcases hunting, fishing and other outdoor adventures.

  • Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour (Mondays, 8 p.m. ET): The new Bass Pro Tour consists of eight events and the Bass Pro Tour Championship, the REDCREST.
  • Hooked (Fridays, 7 p.m. ET): Fishing has always been part of Averie's life and her love of the sport has only grown with each passing year. Now she's made it her mission to introduce sport fishing to the next generation. Join Averie as she teams up with professional anglers from her region and follow along as they work to catch their best five fish limit.
  • Reelistic (Fridays, 7:30 p.m. ET): Description- Reelistic Outdoors takes you on uncharted fishing adventures throughout the beautiful west coast of Canada. Scott Stewart is joined by family and friends each week to bring you breathtaking views and awesome…big fish.
  • Let’s Take it Outside (Saturdays, 7 pm ET): Outdoor Adventure Show from the water to the woods, Misty Wells is taking you outside. Wells takes viewers wahoo and tuna fishing in the Cayman Islands, bass fishing in Nashville to offshore in the historic Middle Grounds of Florida. Want more? Join Misty and her crew as they navigate dangerous Class IV and V rapids in North Carolina and hunt down huge pythons in the Everglades.

    • FLW/TBF High School Fishing National Championship (special airing November 14 at 4:30 p.m. ET): Competitive high school fishing is quickly gaining popularity and 280 teams converge on the banks of the mighty Mississippi River in a three-day tournament to determine the 2020 National Champion.
    • Bowhunter – Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET – Join the Bowhunter Magazine crew as they showcase more action-packed bow hunts and helpful how-to tips than ever before.
