HSCF Awarded Approval As New National NGO Member Of International Council For Game & Wildlife Conservation (CIC)

(HOUSTON, TX-) Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF) is pleased to announce its approval as one of the newest member organizations of the International Council For Game & Wildlife Conservation (CIC).

The Houston Safari Club Foundation is now a member of the international family of the CIC. The approval follows the ratification of new members, which took place electronically in May (given the circumstances of the coronavirus pandemic). “We are extremely proud and pleased to join the international membership ranks of CIC as a member, joining forces to preserve wild game and hunting.” stated Joe Betar, Executive Director of Houston Safari Club Foundation.

The International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation (CIC) is a politically independent advisory body which aims to preserve wild game and hunting. To achieve this goal, the CIC promotes the sustainable use of wildlife resources. The mission of the CIC is to promote and support the conservation of wildlife and related landscapes, local communities, and traditions through sustainable use including hunting.
