Whitetails Unlimited Finishes the 2019 Deer Camp Tour Strong

The Whitetails Unlimited Deer Camp Tour 2019 came to end on November 22 with an event in Ohio. WTU hosted a total of 83 deer camps in 25 states this year, a slight increase over 2018 when WTU hosted 79 Deer Camps. WTU’s dedicated membership commands a fair share of credit for the continued growth of the Deer Camp. The Deer Camp Tour sponsors also play an important role with the overall success with 65 on board for 2020.

Sponsorship merchandise varies from coolers, optics, and ground blinds to bows, portable heaters, and hunting equipment. This is a perfect venue to display high-quality products from some of the best in the hunting and outdoor industry. For those that attend a Deer Camp, everyone is a winner because all attendees receive a Deer Camp Tour shirt. Over the years, these unique custom-designed shirts have become a collector’s item for many of the event attendees.

“Our Deer Camps have turned into a treasured tradition for a lot of our attendees,” says Whitetails Unlimited Program Services Director Russ Austad. “For some, their local Deer Camp is circled on the calendar just like the opening day of deer season.”
