Shoot Like A Girl to Visit Bass Pro Shops in Portage, Indiana for the 2025 Authentic Tour

ATHENS, Ala. – May 30, 2025 – SLG2, Inc., the outdoor industry’s leading experiential marketing company, will be making a stop with its Shoot Like A Girl experience at Bass Pro Shops in Portage, Indiana, on Saturday, June 7, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, June 8, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This interactive event offers a welcoming and safe environment designed to introduce women and their families to the exciting world of shooting sports, focusing on safety, responsibility and empowerment.

Inside the mobile range, guests aged 18 and above will have the opportunity to handle and shoot handguns and long guns using the military-grade firearm simulator. The event will feature Shoot Like A Girl’s state-of-the-art mobile range, allowing participants to experience the excitement of shooting under the guidance of certified female instructors. These experienced instructors will offer a comprehensive introduction to firearm safety and handling using a Firearms Training Systems (FATS) by InVeris military-grade simulator, which provides immediate feedback on recoil, impact and sound. This experience fosters a fun, secure and comfortable atmosphere, building confidence in shooting sports and encouraging participation in various outdoor activities. Shoot Like A Girl instructors also offer safety talks for children and teens under 18.

Outside of the range, attendees can explore the Shoot Like A Girl gun bar, where a variety of firearms, including revolvers, semi-automatic pistols, shotguns and rifles, will be available for comparison. Additionally, participants can interact with product displays and demonstrations featuring a range of items, including the MAGPUL DAKA Grid system, SABRE inert pepper spray and Gun Tote’n Mamas Original concealed carry handbags. The Shoot Like A Girl experience will be stationed in front of Bass Pro Shops in Portage, Indiana on Saturday, June 7 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, June 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Women and men of all experience levels are welcome, and no prior knowledge is necessary to participate in this free event. All necessary equipment will be provided to guests upon arrival.
