First Hunt Foundation Announces New Marketing Director

The First Hunt Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Ronnie Hamilton as its new Interim Marketing Director. Rick Brazell, First Hunt Foundation President says, “We’re very excited to have someone of Ronnie’s talents serving on our national leadership team. We’re calling it an interim position for now to ensure it meshes well with his company’s time requirements, but believe it will become a longstanding commitment.” First Hunt Foundation has no paid employees but recruits volunteers with a passion for saving our hunting heritage.

Hamilton, a seasoned media strategist and owner of Floor 13 Media, brings a wealth of experience to the role. He has worked with major brands such as Microsoft, Marriott, Home Depot, Vogue, and Premera Health. His current portfolio includes senior roles with Tippins Foods, Pineapple Life, Bike Swift, Miri Rodriguez, Jake Crocker, and Armoire.

Hamilton’s journey began in his early 20s when he founded Fortitude, a media production company. His entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to growth have been instrumental in building valuable relationships for both clients and creators.

As a Seattle native who relocated to Austin in 2022, Hamilton is known for his storytelling prowess and dedication to empowering brands through authentic and impactful communications. An avid outdoorsmen from a young age, Hamilton spends his time in the outdoors backpacking, overlanding and documenting nature. His fervor for exploration and commitment to conservation positions him perfectly to magnify our foundation’s mission for the benefit of forthcoming generations.

In his new volunteer role at the First Hunt Foundation, Hamilton aims to:

1. Drive member and mentorship growth.

2. Reestablish the organization’s narrative and communication strategy.

3. Enhance the content library by creating more original content and engagement. opportunities for the community.

4. Serve as a professional representative and ambassador of the Foundation and its values.

5. Build a marketing team for the long term as the Foundation continues to grow.

Brazell says, “Hamilton will be responsible for developing and advising on overall marketing and communication strategy, overseeing organizational content strategy and production, optimizing digital channels such as the website and member communications, and working with organizational leaders to enhance mentor and member experiences.”

With Ronnie Hamilton joining the team, the First Hunt Foundation is set to begin an exciting new chapter marked by collaboration and innovation.
