Pro Sportsman Seeks Director of Ecommerce

Pro Sportsman is a dynamic retail company that owns and operates eCommerce websites in the outdoor categories, including its flagship website BowhuntersSuperstore.com. In addition to the eCommerce presence, Pro Sportsman, LLC owns a premiere archery and FFL pro-shop, branded Bowhunters Superstore in Wellsville, PA.

Pro Sportsman is growing and seeking a passionate Director of Ecommerce. This role will require an analytical and data-driven approach towards our ecommerce sites and third-party channels. Below is the position summary for any interested candidates to review.

Director of eCommerce Job Summary

The Director of eComm & Marketing is responsible for authoring and executing unified sales and marketing plans and providing strategic leadership on BowhunterSuperstore.com, and all other eCommerce channels. The Director of eComm & Marketing will manage web development partners, marketing firms, and strategic industry partnerships to drive profitable and sustainable eCommerce growth, as well as exploring new eCommerce sales-centric channels.


  • Promote and uphold Pro Sportsman Mission, Vision and Values.
  • Author and execute sales and marketing strategies that are centered on bolstering gross sales and profitability
  • Develop, manage, and foster relationships with web development partners, marketing firms, and strategic industry partnerships
  • Author and execute strategic marketing tactics that drive global brand awareness
  • Develop and oversee KPI reporting to monitor critical sales, margin, and operational health
  • Remain abreast of eCommerce trends inside and outside of the outdoor industry
  • Provide daily strategic guidance to the Marketing Manager
  • Analyze business processes and collaborate with team to optimize
  • Prepare monthly, and quarterly sales reports
  • Additional duties as assigned.


  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • 3+ years senior leadership role experience in related field
  • eCommerce management expertise
  • Experience selling on third party sales channels
  • Demonstrated ability to author and execute dynamic sales and marketing strategies
  • A strong understanding of modern retail and eCommerce practices
  • Desire to operate in an entrepreneurial capacity
