BIRMINGHAM, AL. – Iron Valley® Supply Co., one of the country’s leading shooting sports distributors, is pleased to announce the promotion of Chris Davenport to serve as Vice President of Merchandising.

Prior to his promotion, Chris most recently served as a Buyer, managing purchasing and demand planning for multiple categories and lines. Previous to his start at Iron Valley, Chris served as a Product Line Manager with Palmetto State Armory. During his time with Palmetto State Armory, Chris managed purchasing and demand planning for the ammunition category across five retail locations as well as E-Commerce sales. Previous to working for Palmetto State Armory, Chris served as a Category Manager/Buyer for United Sporting Companies. Over his six- year career with United Sporting Companies, Chris was responsible for procurement and inventory management for the ammunition category. A graduate of Clemson University, Chris and his family currently reside in Little Mountain, SC. He will be working out of the Iron Valley® Supply purchasing office in Chapin, SC.
