Sparta, Wisconsin – Team Mathews had another stand-out showing at the IBO Triple Crown National Championship located in Nelsonville, OH, crowning two national champions and claiming five podiums overall.
Team Shooter Dan McCarthy, the defending 2024 Triple Crown Champion, took top honors in Pro Male (PMR) this week, earning the title of IBO National Champion for the second year in a row. McCarthy had a combined score of 472 and a commanding 27 X-count.
Team Shooter, Emily McCarthy, claimed first this weekend in Pro Female (PRF) claiming another Triple Crown title for Team Mathews. McCarthy shot lights out this year throughout all three Triple Crown events claiming a third and a first place finish in the first two legs of the event. Teammates Cara Kelly and Sharon Wallace claimed second and third place making it a clean sweep in Pro Female this weekend.
Adding on to the Team’s success, Team Shooter Team Gillingham finished the event with a combined score of 460 and an 18 X-count claiming third place in Pro Senior (PSR).
