Bozeman, MT. – MYSTERY RANCH, an industry-leading backpack company devoted to making mission-specific packs would like to recognize One Montana and the positive impact that their Master Hunter Program achieved in 2020.

One Montana launched its Master Hunter Program to help the State of Montana and private landowners improve wildlife management efforts by restoring the cooperation between hunters, landowners, and game managers.

The program focuses on hunter education and teaches participants valuable lessons in conservation, stewardship, natural history, ethics, and other specific hunting skills. The goal of the program centers around building trust and improving working relationships between landowners and sportsmen, and to create ambassadors and mentors for the sport of hunting.

The Program is a unique and rigorous course which includes classroom and online instruction, and field work. Each participant has the opportunity to become a Certified Master Hunter and will receive a Montana Master Hunter Certificate upon successful completion of the course. In 2020 One Montana graduated 75 hunters, increasing the programs total to 165 hunters that now possess the knowledge and respect to be thoughtful ambassadors for the sport.
