Each week join Larry Weishuhn, one of our country’s most recognized wildlife conservationist/outdoor celebrities along with his many guests from throughout the hunting, wildlife conservation and outdoor world, as he and his guests share their knowledge and experiences through his “DSC’s Campfires with Larry Weishuhn” podcast, now quickly approaching its 200th episode. Larry also does a weekly podcast with Luke Clayton for Sporting Classics Daily, “Campfires with Luke and Larry”, where the two old friends, with a lifetime of hunting, fishing, and cooking share their knowledge and spin a few yarns. Larry Weishuhn has been a professional wildlife biologist for over 50 years, and living the outdoor lifestyle for nearly 70 years. He has written over 2,000 feature articles, plus many columns and blogs while serving on staff with such publications as Petersen’s Hunting, Shooting Times, Deer & Deer Hunting, Sporting Classics as well as freelancing to many others. Larry has authored eight award winning outdoor books. He has appeared in nearly 500 outdoor television show episodes and currently co-hosts two award winning shows, “The Journey” and “A Sportsman’s Life”. In 2007 he was inducted into Legends of the Outdoors Hall of Fame and received the prestigious Carl Zeiss Lifetime Achievement Award. He has spent a lifetime teaching others about wildlife, wildlife conservation and the outdoor lifestyle.
