AMDO to Auction Hualapai Elk Tag

Phoenix, AZ- Arizona Mule Deer Organization is set to offer the 2020 Hualapai Tribe Elk Tag at their February 1 Benefit Banquet. This coveted tag will be sold to the highest bidder during the live auction and interest is already mounting.

AMDO President Jim Lawrence says “AMDO is honored to work with the Hualapai Tribe to auction this special tag”. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Hualapai Youth Scholarship Fund. “Sportsmen who love chasing Elk, know of the Hualapai reservation’s reputation for Monster Elk”. 400”+ Class Bulls are not uncommon and the recent rains should prove to be a banner year for horn growth.

The winning bid allows the hunter and one guest to choose any consecutive 14 day hunt date from August 1 – January 31, 2020. The lucky hunter will have one million acres of prime elk country to pursue their trophy and will be assisted by an experienced tribal guide. Food and lodging are provided by the Hualapai. This is truly the hunt of a lifetime.

Regional Director – Terry Herndon was quick to comment on AMDO’s recent Benefit Banquet, where the Arizona Commissioners Special Elk Tag was auctioned off for an amazing $240,000. “We were amazed at the number of live and phone bidders on the Commissioners Special Elk Tag, the excitement grew with every bid” says Herndon. 100% of the proceeds from this tag went directly towards wildlife conservation in Arizona.
