Rambo Bikes has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Specialist located in Centerville IA. The Marketing Specialist will be an integral position to promote Rambo Bike’s products through the strategic use of Social Media platforms, Email & SMS Marketing, Blog Articles, PR Releases, updating Website content and more.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to fully understand and execute promotional calendars.
- Create and manage a monthly Social Media calendar.
- Update website content on a weekly basis.
- Launch marketing communications based on quarterly schedules.
- Effectively communicate Rambo Bike’s message across all platforms.
- Attend various trade shows and other events as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that include but not limited to writing Press Releases, Blog Articles, D2C and B2B Emails, SMS and creating short videos on Social Media.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Time management skills with an ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum of 2 years using business accounts on Facebook, Instagram, & other social platforms.
- Experience with Canon or Sony DSLRs & Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Final Cut Pro.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Wordpress and other related software.
- Knowledge of CSS, HTML, WSIWIG editors and SEO best practices is preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or similar field.
- Three to five years of related work experience.
Requirements:

- You’re an extrovert, upbeat, go-getter; an overall outgoing person.
- You enjoy telling stories, writing articles and being in front of a camera when needed.
- Must be able to work from our corporate HQ in Centerville, Iowa (85 miles southeast of Des Moines, IA)
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds at times.
- Travel is required about 10%

- Salary: $44,000-$52,000 per year depending on experience
