HuntStand Becomes Gold Sponsor of the National R3 Symposium

Columbia, S.C. — North America’s most popular hunting and land management app, HuntStand, is proud to announce it will be a gold-level sponsor of the 2022 National R3 Symposium in Broken Arrow, OK May 2-5, 2022. The focus of the R3 movement is to recruit, retain, or reactivate hunters, anglers, and recreational shooters.

Hosted by the Council to Advance Hunting and the Shooting Sports (CAHSS), the symposium brings together professionals from agencies, non-governmental organizations, and industries across the country to ensure the future of conservation through participation in hunting, target shooting, angling, boating, and other outdoor recreation.

HuntStand’s sponsorship includes financial assistance, complimentary one-year HuntStand Pro subscriptions for all attendees, and national media support of the CAHSS mission.

“Success of the R3 movement requires partnerships with wildlife agencies, conservation organizations, and leading industry companies, so we are grateful for HuntStand’s support of the symposium and our mission,” said CAHSS Executive Director Dr. Steven Leath.

“Sponsoring this event and CAHSS in general is a no-brainer for us,” said Lanford Holloway, CEO of Terrastride, Inc., Huntstand’s parent company. “In fact, supporting organizations and programs with proven records of success recruiting, retaining, and reactivating hunters and shooters is one of HuntStand’s four conservation pillars. It is paramount to the future of hunting, the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation, and part of our company’s DNA.”

“We believe the incredible technology in the HuntStand app can play a vital role in the R3 movement,” said Brian Murphy, HuntStand’s V.P. of Corporate Relations and Strategic Partnerships, and a featured speaker at the symposium. “One of the largest barriers for new hunters is confidence. Our app can help new hunters find places to hunt, keep them safe and legal, and increase their success afield—all keys to hunter recruitment and retention.”

“The national R3 movement has made great strides in increasing participation in hunting, shooting sports, angling and outdoor recreation, but the work must continue,” said Leath. “Anyone with a vested interest in securing the future of wildlife conservation and the shooting sports should attend.” For more information visit, www.cahss.org
