Cory Morrow to Headline Concert Benefiting Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation

Fundraiser to be Held February 27 at Gilley’s Dallas;

Includes Auction, Dinner, and Dancing

DALLAS -- -- Singer-songwriter Cory Morrow will headline Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation’s 2020 benefit concert, on Thursday, February 27, at Gilley’s in Dallas. The Austin-native and Texas country legend, known for songs such as “Texas on My Mind” and “Beat of Your Heart,” has sold more than 200,000 albums as an independent artist.

“I’m honored to be a part of this amazing event,” Morrow said. “I believe in the mission of Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation and in their work to teach outdoor conservation and instill a love of the outdoors in the next generation. Ultimately, OTF is about getting kids outside.”

In addition to the concert, the evening will include a barbecue dinner, live and silent auctions, a raffle, and dancing. Auction items will include diverse hunting and fishing trips, outdoor gear, unique jewelry and artwork. Louis Murad of Murad Auctions will emcee the event and auction.

“This year’s benefit is going to be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate OTF’s tremendous growth and life-changing impact on over 50,000 kids every single year,” said Ricky Fairchild, Chairman of the Board of OTF. “By having Cory Morrow headline our benefit, we hope to engage new and existing supporters to raise funds that will allow us to continue our 30% annual growth, with the goal of reaching over 100,000 kids every year by 2022.”

The event is a major fundraiser for the non-profit OTF, which currently partners with 530+ schools in 35 U.S. states to offer its Outdoor Adventures curriculum as a physical education elective. Students who participate in the course are introduced to activities such as angler education, archery, hunter education, boater education, orienteering, survival skills, camping, shooting sports, CPR/first aid, outdoor cooking, challenge course, backpacking, mountain bike camping, paddle sports, rock climbing, and fauna, flora and wilderness medicine.
