MOUNT JOY, PA — On Saturday, May 7th, 2022 from 9AM to 2PM Kinsey’s Outdoors will host their 23rd annual Kid’s Day. The event (rain or shine) takes place on the grounds of the retail location, well-known for supplying South Central Pennsylvania’s outdoor enthusiasts for decades, at 1658 Steel Way in Mount Joy, PA.

Entry is free and participants will be treated to more than 20 fun outdoor activities/stations including: archery shooting, clay bird shooting, fly tying and casting, catch and keep trout fishing, TechnoHUNT, a smoke maze and more! The event includes a free t-shirt for the first 300 kids, free hotdogs, chips, and drinks for the kids, and a free mount for the largest fish caught!

Brady Lesher, General Manager, expressed his excitement, “Kid’s Day is an opportunity for the Kinsey’s family to join local families in a fun filled outdoor event focused on teaching and passing down our heritage to future generations.”

When life challenged Vernon, leaving him paralyzed below the waist, he turned his passion for archery into a profession. Today, Kinsey’s Outdoors honors Vernon’s legacy as we continuously strive to spread and support a love of the outdoors, spending time hunting and fishing with family and friends.
