Outdoor Equipment Rental Company Now Serving Outdoorsmen Across the Country

Check Outside, an outdoor equipment rental and retail service, has recently launched and is now serving outdoorsmen across the country. Located in Durango, Colorado, Check Outside is committed to providing high quality gear at an affordable price.

Customers are able to rent a wide-range of hunting equipment for a specified period of time. Users then return the equipment once they are finished. Check Outside has the ability to ship to all locations in the United States.

Check Outside offers everything from tents and camp stoves to optics and game cameras. After renting the equipment you also have the option to purchase should you decide you’ll need the gear for future expeditions.

The company was founded by Tracy Barnes and her husband Gary Colliander, with their love of the outdoors in mind. Both Barnes and Colliander are avid athletes and hope to share their love of the outdoors by offering everyone the ability to get the gear they need to embark on their own adventure.

“Our Philosophy is simple. We believe in the flag, our great country, and helping your neighbor,” say the representatives of Check Outside. They continue, “We strive to provide quality equipment so that you can enjoy the outdoors and share your adventures with friends and family.”

The company values helping and giving back to the community above all. They have pledged to donate 10% of their profits in order to help kids enjoy the outdoors. Check Outside has chosen to make donations to Adaptive Sports Center, who provides high-quality outdoor recreation for people with disabilities; Eddie Eagle GunSafe program, a children’s gun accident prevention program; and 2A Heritage 3 Gun Junior Camps.

“At Check Outside we believe in grassroots. We’ve been involved in sports and the outdoors our entire lives and feel strongly about passing on traditions and giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors,” says founders Tracy and Gary. “We know the outdoors and want to share it with you, our community.”
