Lancaster Archery Supply Reviews G5 Prime Archery Nexus 2 Compound Bow

Lancaster Archery Supply produced a video review of the G5 Prime Archery Nexus 2 compound bow, which coincided with Prime’s launch of the Nexus line of bows.

Prime launched its Nexus line Nov. 24, unveiling the Nexus 2, 4 and 6 bows. These are Prime’s flagship hunting bows for 2021. The different versions are for bows measuring 32, 34 and 36 inches, respectively, from axle to axle.

The Nexus bows carry over from previous years Prime’s unique grip positioning, which puts the bow grip in the center of the riser. Also maintained is the swerve riser design, in which the sight window curve above the grip is mirrored by a curve in the riser below the grip. Prime says that balances vibration in the bow at the shot.

Prime, of course, is known primarily for its parallel cams, which feature two side-by-side cams on the top and two side-by-side cams on the bottom.

The design of the Nexus cams is like all Prime predecessors, but the R2 cam itself, which powers the Nexus, is new. It’s a bit more aggressive, and therefore, it’s faster. In fact, Prime says this is the fastest bow they’ve ever built.

Lancaster Archery Supply has become one of the leading resources for information on new bows online – especially on YouTube. The company’s YouTube video featuring the Prime Nexus racked up more than 10,000 views in less than 24 hours – more than any other video published on the bow, including the Nexus video created by G5 Prime Archery.
