The MYSTERY RANCH design team has spent the last couple of years researching, measuring, and fitting countless numbers of body types and logging the results to better understand how their customized fit interfaces with all body types.

The priority was to focus on the female form so MYSTERY RANCH could design the best women’s pack harnessing in the market. The mission was completed for the 2020 selling season. MYSTERY RANCH designed a new, women’s-specific harnessing system with shoulder straps that are narrower than the men’s and ergonomically shaped to contour around the women’s breasts and fall comfortably between the breast and arm.

The harnessing has an adjustable chest strap allowing the user to place it in the most comfortable area across the chest. The chest strap’s hardware is designed to alleviate friction to the user. The shoulder straps have an increased amount of foam than previous years and wrapped with non-abrasive yet durable aerospace mesh. And, there is an increased torso length adjustment range to accommodate longer or shorter torsos, creating the needed amount of clearance for the user’s range of motion from the pack’s frame.

Included on both men’s and women’s MYSTERY RANCH packs, the Guide Light MT™ frame and its five-point waist belt incorporates the highly functional Redirect system and delivers stable weight distribution, eliminating slippage over your hips regardless of the load. Women can more comfortably carry the weight across the lower back and around into the hips but need the waist belt to ride lower in the front. The five-point waist belt system does just that.

MYSTERY RANCH’s new women’s pack harnessing will be available on the Metcalf and POP-UP 28, two of their most popular hunting products that excel in a wide variety of hunting situations. With these breakthrough designs by MYSTERY RANCH, the female backcountry hunter can dial in their gear like never before, allowing them to dig deeper and go farther with optimum comfort and confidence in their gear when packing in and out of the backcountry.
