West Henrietta, NY – Elite Archery stole the show in August at the Canadian National Field Championship and Canadian 3D Nationals. Dave McQuaker and Fiona McClean came out victorious at their respective tournaments.

"Our Canadian shooters have really been shooting well," said Elite Archery President Eric Griggs. "Two consecutive weekend wins are very exciting for our neighbors up north. We have been thrilled to see Elite gaining prominence in Canada."

The Canadian 3D Nationals were held in Windsor Ontario Canada at Malden Park from July 28- August 1st 2016. Conditions were tough as archers fought wind and rain one day and with hot and humid temperatures the next. Dave McQuaker took the victory in the Men's Compound Unlimited (OPEN) class shooting his Elite Victory 37 and posting a score of 793. They encouraged me to compete and do my best and reminded me why I am involved with archery to begin with.

The Canadian National Field Championships were held on August 3rd 2016 in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. A field full of shooters competed in hot an muggy conditions. Elite shooter Fiona McClean captured first place and set a new Canadian record of 2021 with her Elite Victory 37 bow. Fiona McClean is a national shooter for team Canada.

"This bow is so enjoyable to shoot," said McLean. "It's nice to have one less thing to worry about when I'm in a high pressure situation. I know I can trust my equipment."
