Archery Scoring Platform Between Ends Becomes S3DA’s Newest National Sponsor

Williamsburg, KY – Recently the archery scoring platform Between Ends signed a sponsorship contract with S3DA. Between Ends provides many benefits for event coordinators, archers, and their supporters. Tournaments wouldn’t be possible without the organizers, and the Between Ends platform is designed to give them time-saving tools such as auto-generated scorecards, brackets, team calculations, and more. Additionally, the live scoring provides a great way for archers, family, and friends to follow the action at tournaments, especially for those that are remote. Between Ends also makes it easy to publish event changes, which provides participants with up-to-date information concerning both scores and target assignments.

For the folks at Between Ends, well, they’re on a mission to share their love for the sport of archery. They feel that many of their best memories are from their times competing in college tournaments and they hope that all archers can share in that rewarding experience. By empowering organizers to more easily host a variety of local events, the real aim at Between Ends is to make archery competition more accessible and diverse. There are so many incredible stories about kids who have fallen in love with archery, found a place in this great community, and gained lifelong skills and they’re pleased to be able to further that interest.

Between Ends CEO Stanley Cheng said, “Learning extends beyond the classroom and programs like S3DA provide enrichment that is incredibly important and valuable for our youth. Archery, especially in grade-school and collegiate levels, offers a special blend of both a team and individual experience: you get the thrill and camaraderie of competing on an archery team, but ultimately, it’s still just you, your bow, and the target. This experience can be transformational, so we’re grateful and proud for this opportunity to support youth through S3DA and the sport of archery! We’re excited to learn from S3DA and its members so that we can continue to improve our platform to better serve the archery community. These lessons will be used as we prepare our platform for more general use at the local level.”

Amanda Long, S3DA Program & Event Support Coordinator states, “Between Ends is an incredible platform that’s built well and will serve our program well. Coaches, parents, and spectators have always wanted a means to be more interactive with our archery tournaments and there’s no better way than live scoring. However, this platform will truly be a game changer for the event coordinator. Having a platform constructed from the ground up by individuals who understand archery and the unique challenges it presents will be simply phenomenal.”

“We are very excited to be ablet to provide live-scoring for the first time ever at the 2023 S3DA Eastern Indoor National Championship on March 2nd-5th in Owensboro, Kentucky! We certainly hope to see you in attendance as an archer, vendor, or spectator but if that’s not possible, make sure you follow along on www.betweenends.com. S3DA has been interested in working with an electronic scoring platform for several years. Unfortunately, the global pandemic slowed those goals down but when the opportunity presented for us to work with Between Ends, we jumped at the chance,” stated S3DA Executive Director, Holly Helton.

About Scholastic 3-D Archery

Scholastic 3-D Archery (S3DA) is a unique, family-oriented youth archery program which has grown exponentially across the United States as a next-step initiative to follow introductory archery programs. The mission of the Scholastic

3-D Archery program is to foster, educate and guide youth in the areas of 3D, indoor target, and outdoor target archery as well as safe, ethical bowhunting practices. The goal of the S3DA program is to provide archery and bowhunting opportunities to youth in after-school settings, as well as with archery-affiliated clubs and businesses in the community. S3DA youth participate in 3-D and target archery using compound and traditional archery equipment. Youth members can participate at regional, state and national archery events and earn college scholarships from colleges and universities across the United States. S3DA addresses the need for a program to bridge beginning target archery experience and more advanced activities such as 3-D shooting and bowhunting. The program currently operates across the United States with hundreds of certified coaches serving thousands of youth archers.
