Illinois State NASP Tournament Results Announced

SPRINGFIELD, IL – Schlarman Academy of Danville took first place, Saturday, April 2 in the National Archery in the Schools Program Illinois State Tournament (High School Division) with a score of 3,333. Central High School of Champaign was second with a score of 3,320, and Centennial High School also of Champaign was third with 3,299.

In the Middle School Division, Jefferson Middle School took first and third place with 3,314 and 3,156 respectively. Canton Ingersoll Middle School was second with 3,185. In the Elementary School Division, Canton Ingersoll was first with 2,961. Armstrong-Potomac Schools of Potomac was second with 2,728 and GRF Elementary of Georgetown was third with 2,624.

The top male score belonged to Ben Hannauer of Centennial High School with a score of 293. The top female score was earned by Elena Johnson of Champaign Jefferson Middle School with 286.

The NASP Illinois State Tournament, hosted by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) with more than 1,000 students participating, was held at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield. Top finishers qualify for the NASP National Tournament on May 12-14 in Louisville, KY. For complete tournament results, check the link below:
