Marketing Manager - Danner
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Danner marketing manager will play a critical role in creating content, developing meaningful stories, launching new products and driving sales for the brand. They must be passionate about connecting with the people who love Danner – the men and women who rely on the premium quality of Danner boots to outlast and outperform, whether hunting, hiking, putting in a hard day's work or serving our country here or abroad.
A strategic thinker and excellent communicator, this person will develop and execute all marketing communications activities specific to the Danner brand in our core markets of Work, Hunt, Military and Law Enforcement. They will need to work cross-functionally with other members of the marketing, product and sales teams to ensure efficient and consistent messaging, building our stories to drive demand creation efforts, wholesale and retail marketing programs, and development of effective sales tools, packaging and collateral materials.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
Implement marketing and advertising campaigns in alignment with new product launches and sales strategies; plan and implement campaign asset needs, manage timelines, review and share results.
Collaborate with all category and functional leaders to support consistent brand strategy and voice in messaging across all owned, earned and paid outlets, working closely with outside creative agencies and vendors as needed.
Engage cross-functionally with Retail and Direct Sales teams to maintain consistent brand messaging in every consumer engagement.
Maintain branded visual merchandising and promotional material needs to support brand stories – coordinate with creative teams and vendors, manage budgets, inventories.
Manage seasonal packaging updates for all new styles.
Effectively leverage vendor development fund programs to extend visibility and impact within marketing strategy.
Lead seasonal sales material development, including photo shoots, catalog creation and image asset management for marketing, product and sales team.
Collaborate with tradeshow and events coordinator to communicate brand stories at tradeshows, retail stores and consumer events.
Engage with International opportunities and provide coordination and support for marketing programs including tradeshows, promotional events, sales aids and creative asset delivery for use with catalogs and retail merchandising.
Serve as key member of Lacrosse Footwear Inc. Marketing team; Participate in team meetings and planning; Support budget planning and tracking; Represent brand and marketing direction internally with other departments.
Take on other duties as needed.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Must have knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe software and other tools
Outdoor or work product category experience preferred but not necessary
Must be dependable and team oriented

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years of marketing experience in retail or customer service environment
Education in marketing or communications, bachelor degree preferred

Position reports to Director of Marketing
