New York, NY (March 4, 2015) Will Brantley has joined Field & Stream as hunting editor; It was announced today by Anthony Licata, Editor-in-Chief, Field & Stream.

Brantley has been a contributor to Field & Stream for years, writing practical how-to content, reporting from the field, and coordinating exhaustive gear tests for the publication's Best of the Best Awards program. He joins the magazine from his previous post as editor of the outdoor site Realtree.com, and brings a digital savvy that will further strengthen the brand's online and social content. Before joining Realtree, he interned at Field & Stream's sister publication Outdoor Life, and wrote for several other outdoor titles, including FLW Outdoors and Ducks Unlimited.

"After my first squirrel hunt at age 7, piquing my interest in a career around anything other than the outdoors has been a lost cause," says Brantley. "To be hunting editor at Field & Stream is more than I'd dared dream of."
In his new role, Brantley will anchor the brand's hunting coverage, joining the Field & Stream staff in delivering instructive, compelling, and insightful content both in-book and online.
