The popular elk hunting website, www.Elk101.com, has new owners. www.Camofire.com has agreed to purchase Elk101.com from current owner and founder, Corey Jacobsen. Originally launched as a single-page website, Elk101.com has added several features over the last five years including Elk Hunting Webisodes, Forums, and an online store specializing in quality elk hunting gear. Last year, Elk101.com had over 7,000,000 views.

In 2011, Elk101.com also launched Extreme Elk Magazine (www.ExtremeElk.com). "With the exponential growth of the website, coupled with the explosive growth of Extreme Elk Magazine, I have made the decision to sell Elk101.com to better focus my time and energies on Extreme Elk Magazine," states Jacobsen. With an exclusive, dedicated focus on Extreme Elk Magazine, it is poised to continue growing at an unprecedented pace. Jacobsen will still be closely involved in creating quality content for Elk101.com, as will the rest of the original Elk101.com Pro Staff members.
