SPARTA, WI, – MCP IP announces the filing of an intellectual property lawsuit against .30-06 Outdoors and Daibow Archery. In this litigation pending in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, MCP IP alleges that .30-06’s and Daibow Archery’s promotion and sale of compound bows and archery-related accessories infringe at least 14 MCP IP patents and certain MCP IP common law trademark rights. MCP IP’s complaint asserts that products manufactured by Chinese entity Ningbo Beilun Topoint Outdoor Sports Co., Ltd. are imported, advertised, and sold by Daibow Archery and .30-06 Outdoors in the United States, which violates MCP IP’s valuable U.S. patent and trademark rights. Among other things, MCP IP seeks money damages and an order from the court prohibiting any further infringement of the asserted patents and trademarks.
MCP IP is the intellectual property holding company for Matt McPherson, a leading designer and innovator in the archery industry and owner of Mathews Archery, Inc. MCP IP is committed to proactively enforcing and vigorously asserting its extensive intellectual property portfolio against infringers.
