Inspired by noted alternative weapon hunter Tim Wells, the Slock Master Hunter is based on Cold Steel’s popular Double Safe Hunter folding knife.
The heart of the Slock Master Hunter is a 3.5-inch drop point blade featuring Tim Wells’ logo across the blade flat. The blade is made of 8Cr13MoV steel, making it durable yet easy to restore a sharp edge during hard use. The wide belly is especially welcome for efficient for field dressing and skinning big- and small-game animals.
Because a sure grip and fine control are essential in a hunting knife, the Slock Master Hunter utilizes an ergonomic handle profile that is expertly contoured with an integrated finger groove/guard to ensure a positive grip with slippery hands. Also assisting knife retention is the glass-filled nylon handle with high-traction texturing. The handle for the Slock Master Hunter comes in Tim Wells’ signature red.
Built into the Slock Master Hunter is Cold Steel’s rocker lock secondary safety mechanism, which prevents unintended deployment. The knife also comes with a steel pocket/belt clip and a through-hole in the handle to accept a lanyard.
