For over a century, Buck Knives has been handcrafting custom knives from unique and natural materials.
Hours of handcraftsmanship go into each Legacy Collection knife. This new collection for 2022 features unique versions of new and classic models inspired by a variety of our modern designs and our timeless pieces. Each Legacy knife is specific to the year it’s created and marked with a date code stamp. With the exception of the 112 Ranger Vintage Tribute, we will not limit our annual quantity to a specific amount of knives. However, will instead limit these heirloom pieces to the calendar year of production.
112 Ranger Vintage Tribute
The 112 Ranger was introduced into Buck’s product line in 1972 as a smaller version of the 110 Folding Hunter. Since its debut, the 112 has maintained a high position in the lineup. For the 50th Anniversary, the original 1972 model inspired this 112 Ranger replica as part of the 2022 Legacy Collection. Using the original materials, this 112 features a satin finish 440C steel blade and black Micarta® handle with squared brass bolsters. Only 1,000 models of this handcrafted 112 Ranger Vintage Tribute will be available in 2022.

212 Fixed Ranger
As part of the 2022 Legacy Collection, this 212 Fixed Ranger features a satin finish S45VN blade with a beautiful ironwood handle. The guard and pommel are constructed of polished brass, lined with Micarta spacers. Included is a USA-made, black distressed leather sheath.

250 Saunter
As part of the 2022 Legacy Collection, the 250 Saunter is a new slip joint designed with modern materials. Featuring a drop point full-flat grind, Bos heat treated, satin finished S35VN blade, marbled carbon fiber handle, and includes a black leather carry pouch. This 250 Saunter will only be available during 2022.

A traditional design built for ultimate performance, this 501 Squire is crafted with a Bos heat treated, satin finished S35VN blade, black burlap Micarta® handle, and a nickel silver bolster. 842 Sprint Ops Pro
Handcrafted with high-tech materials and built for performance. This 842 features a black Cerakote® coated and Bos heat treated S45VN drop point blade with an olive drab canvas Micarta® handle. Fast one-hand opening is done using the blade flipper and ball bearing pivot. The fasteners and liners have been titanium nitride (TiN) coated for wear resistance and appearance. Available as part of the 2022 Legacy Collection for a limited time.
