Iron Valley Supply and Celerant Open Drop Shipping Capabilities for FFL Dealers

Dealers can now sell any of Iron Valley Supply’s available products online without having to stock the merchandise

Celerant Technology, a preferred retail software provider for the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), announces an expansion of its integration with Iron Valley Supply. The new functionality allows Celerant's FFL dealers, who use the Iron Valley Supply integration, to offer their customers drop shipping. Celerant is the first partner with which Iron Valley Supply has opened up the drop shipping integration.

“We've been working for a couple of years to try to integrate our drop ship program,” said Jeff Pugh of Iron Valley Supply. “I am glad to say that through Celerant, we have a massive inventory that you can put online. You do not have the cost associated with the inventory, we do. But we'll ship that order for you, we want you to sell a lot.”

More Shipping Options to Offer More Choices to Customers

Dealers using Celerant’s point of sale and eCommerce software can already seamlessly integrate Iron Valley Supply's online product feed onto their websites and in-store kiosks. With the new addition of drop shipping capabilities, firearms dealers can now sell an ‘endless aisle’ of products to their customers without having to stock the merchandise. Any product that Iron Valley Supply has in stock in their massive warehouse, dealers can make available for sale by enabling the distributor to drop ship on their behalf. Depending on the item purchased, the order will either ship directly to the consumer or to a local FFL that is pre-selected by the consumer in the case of a firearm.

“Our integration with Iron Valley Supply already helped our dealers eliminate so much manual effort, and automate replenishment,” Ian Goldman, President and CEO of Celerant, stated. “Now, with the addition of drop ship, dealers can offer and sell many more products, both in store and online, and have the vendor do the heavy lifting for them. Being able to offer such a wider product line, without even stocking the merchandise on-site, helps our dealers continue to be competitive and ensure customer retention.”

Save Time and Sell More by Utilizing Multiple Iron Valley Supply Integrations

Celerant’s eCommerce platform integrates with its point of sale software, which allows dealers to manage their entire business in one system. Dealers who want to offer more variety to their customers can utilize the Iron Valley Supply integration to gain access to their entire product catalog. They can then display those products in stores, kiosk stations, and eCommerce websites. For several years, Celerant and Iron Valley Supply have offered integrations such as product catalog imports directly within the point of sale system, electronic ordering and automated ordering based on min/max inventory levels, online product feeds and more. Dealers can take advantage of these integrations or select the integrations that make the most sense for their firearms business.
