DENVER – Outdoor Channel host Nick Hoffman (Nick’s Wild Ride, Mondays at 11:30 PM ET) will spend time on his “back porch” as the new host of Apple Music Country’s Back Porch Country Radio show debuting Friday, March 12 at 5 PM ET/4 PM CT.

Country music has always had a close relationship with the idea of kicking back and slowing down at home. On his new radio show, country music fiddle player, outdoorsman, music artist and television personality Nick Hoffman helps listeners unplug by mixing a “rootsy” blend of old and new crossover tunes.

"For those of you that don't know me, I'm a fiddle player. I'm a singer. I'm also a TV host. I've had a band called “The Farm” that has had a couple of singles on the radio over the last couple of years. And as a side guy, I've played fiddle and guitar with all sorts of different artists. And as if that wasn't enough, I'm on Apple Music radio and I have a cold beer in my hand,” Hoffman exclaimed. “Basically, despite the troubles of the last year, life is pretty good. Anyone who knows me knows that I absolutely live and breathe country music. I love the old stuff and I love the new stuff. I love it all.”

On the premiere episode, Nick gives a shout out to the military men, women and families serving the United States while highlighting listener picks – featuring some 90s country – and spinning tracks by newer artist on the scene. So, sit back, kick off your shoes, grab a beer and head to the “Back Porch” as the sun goes down.
