ATA Seeks Digital Manager

The Archery Trade Association is seeking a Digital Manager. The position description and application information are as follows:

Primary Supervisor: Senior Director of Marketing & Communications
Percent of Time: Full Time, Remote/Work from Home, Exempt with Benefits including, Health and Dental Insurance, 401K, PTO and Life Insurance.

Position Summary: This position supports and executes all day-to-day activities involving marketing and communications efforts for the ATA on social media channels and content creation.

Responsibilities:

•Develop and execute social media strategy, campaigns, promotions, direct response initiatives and all other aspects of social media.

o Directly engage with industry members and consumers alike on digital channels (for multiple brands); Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Linkedin, etc.

  • Manage content across all owned social media platforms as well as interactive content and profiles.
  • Execute community management through all profiles.
  • Provide analysis through KPI's created in partnership with internal stakeholders and

leadership using data from social platforms as well as web/CRM tools. Communicate

results as appropriate.

  • Develop test-and-learn strategies as appropriate to test new opportunities or to

evaluate value of programs.

  • Social listening for trending content, conversations, topics, events and news.
  • Real time monitoring of social channels for: growth and engagement through strategic

engagement and activation.

  • Manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously as both a project lead and/or

as a member of a team.

  • Manage multiple relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external partners

and vendors.

  • Lead influencer outreach efforts for Bowhunting360 and Bowhunters United.
  • Understanding of the whole digital media ecosystem and the role that social media

plays in partnership with media such as Display, Search, SEO, and others.

o Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and

strategy and stay-up-to-date on the latest social media capabilities

  • Assist in brainstorming editorial story ideas for Archery360 and Bowhunting360.
  • Works closely with the members of the Marcom team to coordinate marketing and

communication schedules.

  • Additional duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is required
  • 4-6 years of business experience in a professional setting that includes digital

marketing/social media management

  • Intermediate design and video production knowledge strongly preferred (Adobe

InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom)

  • Some writing experience strongly preferred, AP Style
  • Understands SEO best practices
  • Fluent in Hootsuite Social Listening Tool
  • Familiar with archery and bowhunting industry
  • Skilled at writing captions and editing photos to help bring digital content to life
  • Self-motivated and well-organized, with an appropriate sense of urgency
  • Personable; works well with a diverse group of staff and contractors
  • Effective communicator capable of blending creative expression and critical analysis in making compelling recommendations
  • Initiative, and an ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency with general office software programs
  • Knowledge of archery and bowhunting
  • Willingness to travel

o One business trip to last 7 days annually for the ATA Trade Show
