ATA, Archery Wire Combine Forces for The Industry

You may already be privy to the news we're pretty excited about here at The Archery Wire regarding our recently approved partnership with the Archery Trade Association (ATA), aimed at keeping the archery industry informed and helping ATA members and others in the bow-and-arrow business disseminate news about their companies and products to the thousands of regular readers of this leading and unique digital news service.

And, it's about much more than that.

The main objective of this collaboration, which has been several months in the making, was the creation of an ongoing business relationship between the Outdoor Wire Digital Network's Archery Wire and the Archery Trade Association (ATA), aimed toward the mutual benefit of both parties and their membership (readership). After all, while The Archery Wire is in the business of collecting and distributing the latest news and product information in archery and bowhunting, and the ATA is the primary trade association covering all facets of the industry — manufacturers, retailers, sales reps, distributors, etc. — our end goals are practically identical.

That is, we both focus on what it takes to help those whose business involves bows, arrows and bowhunting to succeed in their chosen field. It's pretty simple really, and that's why this collaboration was really kind of a no-brainer.

The basics of what will be a growing and ever-evolving project will include:

- An advertising and awareness campaign appearing in The Archery Wire for the Archery Trade Association, with the latest ATA news and announcements distributed weekly to the Archery Wire's nearly 27,000 subscribers and their electronic device of choice.

- Special Archery Wire offers for ATA members in good standing, including introductory discounted advertising and Corporate Membership, permitting the companies to submit press releases, company and product news to be distributed to industry readership.

- Creation and distribution of mutually agreed-on promotional pieces aimed at showcasing those participants in the ATA Innovation Zone during the months leading up to the ATA Trade Show in January.

"We're excited to offer another benefit to ATA members," Jay McAninch, president/CEO of the ATA said in a press release this week. "Our member manufacturers, retailers, distributors and sales representatives often have news that would interest the archery and bowhunting communities. This partnership creates a mechanism for sharing that news with a larger audience at no cost to our members."

Watch the Archery Wire for more information and announcements about how to submit items for The Innovation Zone features as well as for forthcoming special new company product introduction features as the ATA Show draws near.

In the meantime, as always, we'll keep you posted.
