Victory Archery™is pleased to congratulate Dave Cousins on winning his third title at the 2022 World Archery Field Championships in Yankton, South Dakota.
Cousins beat out reigning champion Nico Wiener by three points in the men’s compound final to claim USA’s second individual title for the event.
“It’s a really long path to get to the final for one of these,” Cousins said. “This is a process for us that started back in May with the team trials, then all summer thinking about this and physically working and from a technical aspect.”
In his nearly three decades of competitive shooting experience, Cousins has racked up dozens of world records and World Archery Championship medals. In addition to his impressive pro shooting career as a member of the USA Archery Team, he’s also a founding member of the Maine Archery Association and an avid bowhunter.
