Atlanta, GA – Winning his 10th IBO National Triple Crown Championship just last month, Levi Morgan shows no signs of slowing down as he locked in another title by winning first place in the 2021 International Bowhunting Organization World Championship shooting TAC Vanes.
Held this past weekend at Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Pennsylvania, the IBO team pulled everything together to give competitors a chance to do what they do best. With similar events being pushed off yet again this year, Morgan was glad to have a live tournament and even happier post-win.
In the Men’s Professional Class, Morgan finished first using the 2.75” TAC Vanes Driver with a 3-fletch configuration. Finishing alongside Morgan in second place was Dan McCarthy. McCarthy used the 2” TAC Vanes Driver with a 4-fletch configuration to help him bring home a big piece of hardware. Morgan shared the following about McCarthy on a social media post announcing his win, and it’s clear to see the passion and drive behind these two front-runners.
“The reality was I know if I missed an 11, I wouldn’t win. Dan is just that good. The final arrow was the most nerves [nervous] I’ve ever felt and the most emotions I’ve ever had after a win. I’ve been pushed my entre life by competition but this year, Dan has pushed me to a very uncomfortable place of demanding perfection,” Morgan shared.
Beside Morgan and McCarthy, atop the Women’s Professional Class stood Sharon Wallace. Wallace brought home the first-place title shooting the 1.75” TAC Vanes Driver with a 3-fletch configuration. A first-place podium finish is no new feat for Wallace. With this win, along with her 3-event sweep at the IBO Triple Crown tournaments, she was able to solidify her spot as the coveted IBO Shooter of the Year!
