A journalist, video producer, and photographer from Spain, Ampuero travels the world, documenting his adventures chasing game across the globe. He also works as the European Manager of Brand Development for KUIU.
At just 35 years of age, he’s already accomplished some of the most challenging bowhunts in the world and broken several world records. He became just the fourth person ever to complete the Capra World Slam, a quest that includes harvesting 12 different capra species, with a bow.
Driven by the search for adventure and cultural exploration, Ampuero has hunted all types of game throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America, from the rainforest to the desert to the highest mountain ranges.
Ampuero’s need to push himself to accomplish such incredible challenges is what led him to join the Victory Archery team. Looking to maximize his effective range and arrow performance, he currently uses the Victory VAP TKO.
