Gearhead Archery's X16 Crossbow is a Game Changer

The engineers at Gearhead Archery have designed a crossbow so revolutionary, futuristic, performance driven and from the ground up that it's.......wait.......hold on! I have read through enough press releases to know we all search for fancy descriptive words that best describe a new product. The Gearhead X16 doesn't need any fancy words!

The Gearhead X16 is really something special. For starters, it shoots a nocked arrow, the same ones that are typically shot from a vertical bow. The arrow is shot with the cock feather up. This allowed the engineers to bring the crossover cables closer to the rail, which greatly reduced the wear to the cables. We use the same cams on the crossbow as we use on our vertical bow line. The cam builds power quickly and then has let-off into the trigger box. This feature reduces wear to the string, makes it super easy to hand cock and improves accuracy. The X16 has a couple of trigger options. The standard trigger has trigger pull of 3.1 pounds and the drop in Trigger Tech box has a trigger pull of 1.25 pounds.

The framework of the X16 is what makes this crossbow, undeniably - Gearhead Archery! The two side plates with a boss and pocket design gives the structure unbelievable rigidity in both the stock and the riser. The see-through riser design makes this crossbow more camouflaged and it just disappears into its environment. The skeleton frame gives the X16 a weight of 4.5 pounds in Carbon Fiber and 5.5 pounds in Aluminum. This crossbow is perfectly balanced and extremely accurate. The new X16 has an AR style pistol grip, foregrip and adjustable butt plate. The X16 is available in 70, 90 and 125 draw weights and has speeds up to 350 FPS.

Gearhead Archery believes that a good product should be able to stand on its own. No million-dollar ad campaigns here, just more great products that will last a lifetime. Gearhead Archery - Rethinking Tradition!
