Nominations Sought for Collegiate Regional Coach of the Year
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – USA Archery appreciates the efforts of our coaches who dedicate themselves tirelessly to helping our archers grow and achieve their goals. Collegiate coaches often face additional challenges balancing the academic needs of their student athletes with busy competition and practice schedules. To recognize their efforts, we invite our collegiate clubs to honor outstanding coaches in each region (East, North, South, and West) with nominations for the USA Archery Collegiate Archery Program Regional Coach of the Year Award.
Nominees should demonstrate outstanding accomplishments in the sport in the past year. Examples of such accomplishments may include, but are not limited to:
Local, state, and/or national honors and recognitions
Team win/loss record
Contribution to the advancement of the sport
Nomination Requirements:
Current USA Archery Level 2 or higher Certified Instructor or Coach
Current USA Archery Membership
Coach of a current USA Archery Collegiate Archery Program
All current USA Archery Collegiate Archery Program teams are eligible to nominate one coach for the Regional Coach of the Year Award. Please complete the Nomination Form, which can be found here and return to USA Archery at collegearchery@usarchery.org by April 6th, 2017.
Once nominations are received, USA Archery will send a list of nominees to Collegiate Archery Program leaders to review with their members, and teams are each eligible to submit one vote to USA Archery. If a program chooses not to nominate a coach, they may still participate in the voting process.
Please send any questions to collegearchery@usarchery.org.
