Hoyt would like to officially welcome The Bucks of Tecomate to Team Hoyt! The Bucks of Tecomate, a TV show originally aired in 2007 with hosts David Morris and comedian Jeff Foxworthy, was derived from the success of the Tecomate Wildlife Systems, a company founded by Morris and Dr. Gary Schwarz to scientifically develop food plots that would produce healthier deer herds and bigger bucks.
Morris and Dr. Schwarz, are joined by new co-host Jordan Shipley, and hunt across North America in search of big whitetail deer. Morris, a respected outdoor writer and Dr. Schwarz, a leading authority of wildlife management, founded Tecomate Wildlife Systems in 2000 and have been helping hunters and landowners grow deer that others only dream about.
Shipley joins the Tecomate crew after a successful football career in which he was a standout wide receiver for the University of Texas Longhorns; and an NFL career that saw him suit up for the Cincinnati Bengals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Jacksonville Jaguars. After finishing his football career, Shipley chose to pursue his passion of hunting.
"I'm convinced that there is not a better company in the outdoor industry than Hoyt. I couldn't be more excited about becoming a part of the Team Hoyt family and I'm so glad to have the privilege of shooting the best bow on the planet. I've seen first-hand the craftsmanship that goes into every one of their products, and it truly shows in the performance."
