WATERLOO, ON, Canada – Toxon Technologies is thrilled to announce that they are bringing a brand-new archery mobile app experience to market in Spring 2021. The new mobile app for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets enhances the BOWdometer archery practice companion to help archers track their practice, maintain their gear, and connect with the global archery community. The new BOWdometer app uses real-time data automatically collected from the archer’s bow as they shoot.

"Our team has been working hard on this brand-new app experience that will be a gamechanger for the industry," said Marianne Bell, COO of Toxon Technologies. "We’re building an app with a community feeling to celebrate the fun of the sport but also enable archers to really dig into their performance data."

The app has been designed in collaboration with archers from all skill levels. It is currently being tested by archers worldwide, including international competitors Steve Wijler and Crispin Duenas. “The feedback from our testers is invaluable to us. It helps us to make sure we’re delivering a product that archers will love using,” said Bell.

The new app includes the recently announced BOWdometer Open Platform. The platform enables archery manufacturers and app developers to use real-time shooting data from the BOWdometer archery practice companion in their products.

The first application to take advantage of the BOWdometer Open Platform is the Artemis archery performance application for Android smartphones and tablets. Popular with both athletes and coaches, the Artemis app will be enhanced with live shooting data from the BOWdometer Open Platform.
