Online Auction Planned to Aid Injured Bowhunting Writer, Biologist

Product donations are being requested for a forthcoming online auction to benefit respected bowhunting writer Bob Humphrey, who has undergone two major eye surgeries after suffering a severe injury that left him with mounting medical expenses and impaired his ability to work.

Currently best known for his writing contributions to Petersen's Bowhunting on the subject of crossbows, Humphrey has authored thousands of magazine and newspaper articles and columns on bowhunting, fishing, firearms, conservation and other outdoor-related topics.

A registered Maine Guide, Humphrey is a certified wildlife biologist who began his career with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as Manager of Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge in Chatham, Mass.

Friends and associates of Humphrey are organizing an online auction to help ease the burden of his mounting medical costs, as he will likely need additional eye surgeries.

Companies and manufacturers that would like to donate a product for the auction, are asked to send product images, specifications, MSRP and contact information to the Georgia-based outdoor marketing company Source Outdoor Group at media@sourceoutdoorgroup.com .

Further, individuals and companies may make cash donations to a fund set up for the Humphrey family safely via https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=QU9CLBM9CCVGN>PayPal
