COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Throughout the summer months, hundreds of archers tested themselves as part of the USA Archery's Achievement Award Program, with 13 enjoying a sweep of all three pins in their respective discipline.
Among the Adult Gold, Silver and Bronze award recipients, Tanner Boyd (outdoor recurve), Carla Bray, Glenn Buie, Andrew Casey, Allison Li (all outdoor barebow) and Josef Dolai (indoor barebow) claimed a pin of each color.
JOAD Olympian gold, silver and bronze pins went to Aisley Miller, Jarvis Green, Anna Li, Miranda Luo (all outdoor barebow), Harper Ferguson (outdoor compound), Grace Walter and Oliver McGeehin (both outdoor recurve).
Whether you are an athlete, parent or coach, earning the Olympian and Gold, Silver and Bronze awards are a great way to push your limits, test your resolve and motivate yourself to get back on the training field.
Coaches and parents can earn these awards along with their students, allowing students to see adults go through the same struggles they do.
The USA Archery Achievement Program provides achievement award pins for progressive scoring achievements and encourages youth and adult archers to accomplish goals in the sport of archery.
Archers wishing to earn these awards must be current youth, adult, or family members of USA Archery and part of a registered USA Archery Youth or Adult club. Contact clubs@usarchery.org for more information.
