Heated Gear Isn't New To ScentLok
ScentLok has been building heated outdoor apparel since 2020, when it introduced the BE:1 Reactor Plus Vest, the first heated piece in its BE:1 Reactor Series. It put built-in heating elements in the vest's core, with three output levels controlled by a single button.
The technology has come a long way since. The BE:1 Reactor Puffy Heated Vest now has five heating pads, a more powerful 7.4V power system and insulation that makes it 20% lighter than the original. That experience is built right into the Trek Heated Base Shirt.
Heat Right Where You Feel It First
In the BE:1 Trek Heated Base Shirt, three heating pads, two on the front and one on the back, put warmth where the cold tends to hit first. They run off the new ScentLok 7.7V Compact 5000mAh Power Bank, which is sold separately.
A quarter-zip and a 2-inch collar make that warmth easy to manage, too. Vent on the way out so you're not sweating through your base layer, then zip up and lock the heat in once you're settled.

Carbon Alloy® Grabs Odor And Holds On
Carbon Alloy® is ScentLok's proprietary odor-adsorption technology, and it's the heart of this shirt. It blends treated carbon, activated carbon and zeolite, all natural particles with a massive amount of surface area. That surface area pulls in the odors your body puts off and doesn't let go. Until you toss the shirt in the dryer, that is. A tumble reactivates the technology, so it's ready to go again for the next outing.
Silver Alloy™ Keeps Bacteria In Check
Silver Alloy™ works alongside Carbon Alloy®, and it starts with a silver salt solution applied right to the fabric. That solution helps inhibit the growth of bacteria, even in the harshest environments. It's a dyeable fiber, too, and that protection doesn't wear out. It lasts the life of the garment.
Made To Layer
A smooth poly/spandex outer face layers clean under the rest of your kit, while the micro fleece inner lining holds warmth close to your body. It's a base layer that works as hard as everything you wear over it.
The look stays low-key, too. A stand collar and a small chest logo up front, a ScentLok wordmark across the upper back, and a BE:1 tag at the hem are about all the branding you'll see.
Power In Your Pocket
A zippered pocket on the side of the shirt holds the power bank, and the built-in cable is right there ready to connect. The shirt runs on the same connection ScentLok has used across its heated lineup, so it works with any of the 7.4V batteries people may already own. For this shirt, though, ScentLok built something smaller.
The new 7.7V Compact 5000mAh Power Bank is that answer, a less bulky option sized for a garment worn close to the skin. It's small enough to slip in and zip up, so you can forget about it once it's set.
Waking things up takes three quick steps. Plug the power bank into the cable, press the button on the side of the power bank once, then press the control button on the side of the shirt. Three indicator lights sit right above that button.
The USB-C port on the power bank lets you charge your phone, camera and other devices, too. It recharges in about two and a half hours with the included USB-C cable, and it's airplane-approved for travel. Built-in protection guards against surges, overcharging and overheating, and a smart sleep mode keeps the battery from draining by accident.
It powers the BE:1 Reactor Puffy Heated Vest as well.
