Guidefitter and NRA Form Strategic Alliance to Support America's Hunting and Shooting Professionals

Collaboration streamlines access to Guidefitter’s platform and resources for NRA-affiliated instructors, safety officers, and program leaders

Guidefitter, an emerging leader in outdoor recreation technology dedicated to strengthening connections between brands, professionals, and the outdoor community, today announced a strategic alliance with the National Rifle Association of America (NRA). The alliance connects the NRA's vast network of over 150,000 certified instructors, range safety officers, and other program leaders with Guidefitter's platform for verified outdoor professionals—enabling these individuals to access exclusive gear benefits, educational opportunities, and community tools that support their work advancing the NRA's mission.

Under the new relationship, NRA-affiliated professionals gain streamlined, pre-approved access to Guidefitter Insider status, joining a verified network of outdoor professionals who help drive the industry forward. As Insiders, they'll enjoy VIP-level benefits with more than 300 leading outdoor brands.

Guidefitter also now hosts an NRA Association Page within its community, giving the organization a dedicated space to share news and updates with outdoor professionals nationwide, and will support the NRA's membership efforts by encouraging new enrollments and renewals across its growing platform.

"The NRA 2.0 is focused on getting back to basics—education, training, and professionalism," said Doug Hamlin, Executive Vice President & CEO of the NRA. "We're rebuilding this organization the right way, with the right people, and working day and night to put it where it needs to be. Our partnership with Guidefitter reflects that focus. It strengthens our outreach to the instructors, range safety officers, and mentors who are helping us grow participation in hunting and shooting sports across America."

Future phases will expand the collaboration to ensure that all NRA members who qualify for Guidefitter Insider status, such as professional guides, outdoor industry employees, military service personnel, and first responders, are invited to easily access the platform's benefits and community of like-minded outdoor professionals. The two organizations are also exploring potential new benefits for NRA Life+ members, though specific details have not been announced at this time.

"Guidefitter exists to make outdoor professionals more accessible and impactful," said Bryan Koontz, CEO of Guidefitter. "Partnering with the NRA is a natural extension of that mission. Together, we're helping the instructors, safety officers, and mentors who form the foundation of America's hunting and shooting heritage, while also supporting the NRA's ongoing commitment to training, safety, and membership growth." The partnership rollout, already underway, begins with co-branded outreach, streamlined verification for NRA-affiliated professionals, and new engagement initiatives designed to strengthen the future of hunting and shooting sports in America.

Other national membership associations and nonprofit organizations dedicated to outdoor education, wildlife and wild spaces conservation, or shooting sports, similar to the NRA and the International Hunter Ed Association (IHEA), are encouraged to contact partners@guidefitter.com to learn more about partnership opportunities with Guidefitter.
