SEVR Broadheads introduces Magneto™, a mechanical broadhead system built around patented magnetic blade retention instead of traditional O-rings and collars. SEVR Magneto broadhead models use a rare-earth magnet to hold blades in place in the quiver, on release, and during flight. On impact, the blades deploy immediately, delivering consistent cutting performance in a simplified new configuration.
"Magneto changes how blade retention is handled in a mechanical broadhead," said Clint Warner, vice president, product development. "Removing O-rings and collars simplifies the system in real-world conditions. Blade retention is something our customers have been asking us to evolve, so we're excited to bring this to market."
Built on SEVR's Grade-5 titanium platform, Magneto models feature a 1.75-inch cut diameter and are available in two configurations:
- Ti 1.75 Two-Blade — optimized for penetration with a large primary cut
- Ti 1.75 Hybrid — adds a fixed 0.75-inch bleeder blade for a total cut of 2.5 inches
- 100 and 125 grains
Both models incorporate SEVR's Lock-and-Pivot™ blade system and Practice Lock™ technology, along with contained main blades for field-point accurate flight.
Magneto is designed for use with vertical bows only and reflects SEVR's continued focus on simplified, repeatable mechanical performance.
