Fans of Brian "Pigman" Quaca know there's nobody in outdoor TV quite like Pigman, and in Season 17 the unabashed show host once again raises the bar – and the roof – continuing his extreme, high-energy lifestyle and sharing every moment of his rough-and-tumble hunting adventures on Pigman: The Series, airing Sunday nights at 8:30 p.m. ET on Sportsman Channel.
Long considered a trendsetter for his big personality, adrenaline-laced onscreen antics and crazy, off-the-cuff sense of humor, Pigman promises nothing less in this new season filled with the passionate pursuit of monster hogs and a mixed bag of other game reckless enough to give him a shot; and make no mistake, he's as serious and deadly as ever with any kind of bow or firearm in his hands.
Brian "Pigman" Quaca, was born and raised in Central Texas, a true-blue original and a real character who was apparently "angry at hogs" from the very beginning. He attended trade school for gunsmithing and earned a fast reputation in ranch country for being able to markedly improve a rifle's accuracy. That, coupled with his uncanny ability to locate, hunt and bring down monster hogs, and to guide others to big boars too, launched the "Pigman" mythos, and the rest is history! Today he's joined regularly on hunting adventures by his lovely – and equally deadly – wife, Junie, along with son, JD, and other Pigman Family and Friends.
In the current season, Pigman, as usual, sets his sights on wild boar whenever and wherever he has the opportunity, but he also takes aim at a wide variety of other wild critters. To start things off, he heads to whitetail sleeper state Arkansas in search of a mature buck at CUS Outdoors; then he's off to his favorite, world-class hog hunting camp in Oklahoma (EP's Hardwood Outdoors), before taking a break in New Mexico for some of what he calls, "prairie dog destruction." Then the Pigman crew heads back to Oklahoma to bowhunt for big free-range elk and aoudad. Of course, hogs are almost always on the menu, and occasionally there's a wild turkey "Slaughterfest," or two, and there's even more outlandish hunting fun to come…
