A partnership between the Commission, the City of Lincoln, the Easton Sports Development Foundation and other partners, the $2.8 million, 17,700-square-foot Nebraska Game and Parks Commission Outdoor Education Center features a 25-meter, 32-lane archery range that will be open to the public five days a week, 50 weeks a year.

The Easton Archery Center, which opened last week in Salt Lake City, Utah, is first of its kind in many ways. Not only does it have shooting ranges, but there is advanced technology testing, meeting and classroom space, a gym, a sports medical room and a workshop.

Easton Foundations will host an open house for the new Easton Salt Lake Archery Center to the general public Saturday, April 12. Olympic archers will shoot demonstrations, food will be served, and the ranges will be open and equipment will be available for visitors to try archery.
