BOISE – Public lands sportsmen and women from across North America will be traveling to Boise, Idaho, for Backcountry Hunters & Anglers’ 7th annual North American Rendezvous, April 12-14, 2018.

BHA’s 2018 Rendezvous features a dynamic lineup of outdoor events, hands-on seminars and renowned speakers for its second gathering in the Gem State. Highlights include BHA’s Campfire Stories event, the first everBackcountry Film Fest and the first national BHA Hike to Hunt event, as well as returning favorites like the Backcountry Brewfest and hotly contested Wild Game Cookoff. Early bird registration is available until March 1.  

Steven Rinella, frequent Rendezvous attendee and a 2018 featured storyteller at Campfire Stories, issued a call to sportsmen and women to join the public lands party in Boise.

“BHA’s Rendezvous has become an annual destination for passionate hunters and anglers who are willing to speak out in defense of wildlife and wild places,” said Rinella. “From seminars to the wild game cook-off, it’s a kick in the ass in the best possible way. I’m honored to be headlining the pinnacle of the weekend as a storyteller on Saturday night. You’ll never forgive yourself if you don’t come.”

The 2018 Rendezvous seminar schedule features a wealth of resources for the dedicated public lands sportsman, including a Q&A with Western Hunter’s Remi Warren, “How to Use the Whole Animal” with First Lite’s Ryan Callaghan and BHA national board member J.R. Young, “Eat Wild Game” with Chef Randy King, and “DIY Fishing the West” with respected angler Heather Hodson.
