Competition Archery Media Enters Agreement with Eleven Sports

Competition Archery Media (CAM) has entered into a contract agreement with Eleven Sports – a worldwide provider of broadcast sporting events – to broadcast live archery competitions. This agreement was made possible after an introduction from Rod Menzer, CEO of USA Archery.

Eleven Sports currently is available to 70 million households in seven countries – including 17.5 million in the U.S. - through satellite and cable providers in six countries. And its reach continues to expand. Besides archery, Eleven Sports also provides broadcasts of professional baseball, soccer, auto racing, track and field and other competitive sports via DIRECTV: Channel 623, Verizon FIOS: Channel 597, Samsung TV Plus, U-Verse: Channel 1665 and other providers.

CAM provides high-quality, broadcast coverage of 3-D and target archery tournaments around the United States, including all Archery Shooters Association (ASA) national 3-D competitions, and tournaments organized by USA Archery and National Field Archery Association (NFAA). CAM’s mission is to produce coverage that will bring archery into the mainstream, yet will also be appealing to dedicated archery fans.

Eleven Sports expressed an interest in CAM’s work after seeing CAM’s coverage of USA Archery’s National Indoor Finals in Cincinnati, Ohio, in March.

“USA Archery CEO Rod Menzer and other key USA Archery staff members were invaluable in bringing CAM and Eleven together for the benefit of every competitive archer and national archery organization in America,” said CAM founder Rob Kaufhold.

CAM’s introductory broadcasts via Eleven Sports were the ASA tournament in Appling, Ga., on May 18, and the ASA tournament in London, Ky., on June 22. Also expected for the 2019 season will be broadcasts of the ASA Classic in Metropolis, Ill., Aug. 3, as well as USA Archery’s U.S. National Target Championships & U.S. Open in Dublin, Ohio, Aug. 17. In addition to Eleven Sports, CAM’s coverage of these events also can be found on the CAM Facebook page and YouTube channel.

CAM is able to produce its broadcasts thanks to the support of T.R.U. Ball/Axcel Archery, Mathews, PSE Archery, Hoyt Archery, Shrewd, Easton, Black Eagle Arrows, Vortex Optics, Carbon Express, Obsession Bows, Elite, Scott Archery, Custom Bow Equipment, Specialty Archery, Last Chance Archery, GAS Bowstrings, ASA, NFAA, USA Archery and Lancaster Archery Supply.
